Leadership at St Peter's
The Rector is the ordained minister within the Benefice. He is supported by lay ministers who have had training from the Diocese to be able to lead some services as well as home groups.
John regularly leads Morning Prayer on Wednesday mornings as well as preaching and leading Services of the Word or Evensong periodically.
Michelle usually leads Breakfast@Church and also preaches and leads Services of the Word.
Both John and Michelle can take funeral services.
We also regularly welcome Rev. Chris Johnson and Lay Reader Bryan Harris to lead services.
PCC
As well as the Ministry Team, St Peter’s has a Parochial Church Council (PCC) which includes a number of volunteers who are voted into their roles at the Annual Parochial Church Meeting in May. The PCC is chaired by the Rector.

The church warden is the Bishop’s lay representative in the parish and is responsible for the upkeep of the church and the smooth running of church activities.
