We are grateful to Rev Mike Nelson and the team at Twydall for their support during the interregnum including leading some of our services for us.

2024 news

In April Holy Trinity started providing a free weekly hot two course meal for people who are having difficulty providing for themselves together with opening a community larder for their customers. They rely on donations and goodwill to fund it. Members of our congregation have been to see it in action and it is humbling to see what a heart this parish has for its less fortunate neighbours. St Peter’s Community Coffee Shop was pleased to support this initiative as one of its charities this year.

In July we welcomed friends from Twydall to Tim’s final service. Mike Nelson, their Vicar lead a Eucharist service for us in the autumn together with Anna Drew, their curate. Members of our congregation have visited Twydall for worship, to eat pancakes on Shrove Tuesday, to attend their Eco Fair in the summer and their Christmas Fair: always receiving a very warm welcome. The link is appreciated by both parishes as we are able to help a parish with many more financial and social problems than ours and they are so faithful at praying for us.
