Village Events
St Peter's organises a number of village events each year
Remembrance Sunday
Each Remembrance Sunday, we organise a Service of Remembrance at the War Memorial where as a village we hold the 2-minute silence at 11am.
The Scouts provide a guard of honour, the names on the war memorial are read out and a number of wreaths are laid including by the school.
Carols in the Square
Usually on a Wednesday before Christmas, many villagers dress warmly to join us for community carol singing in the village square. We provide mince pies and collect for St Mungo's.
Teddy Bear's Picnic
Usually on a Saturday in August, we host a Teddy Bear's Picnic and Churchyard Athletics for the families of the village.
This includes lots of activities including the Teddy Bear Zip Wire, bear hunt round the church and finishes with a picnic tea.
